During Hair Transplant Operation
During the operation, we give some drugs intravenously in 1000 cc saline and sometimes a tablet.

PHENIRAMINE
Pheniramine is an antihistamine with anticholinergic properties used to treat allergic conditions such as hay fever or urticaria but we give it to induce sleep and prevent allergies. (I.V.)

CEFAZOLIN SODIUM
Antibiotic (I.V.)

ADRENALINE
Epinephrine (S.C.) To reduce bleeding.

PARACETAMOL
Painkiller (I.V.) If the patient needs it.

TENOXICAM
Painkiller (I.V.) If the patient needs it.

LIDOCAINE / PRILOCAINE
Local anesthesia (S.C.)

DOXYLAMINE
It is defined as a short-term sedative and hypnotic drug. It is used in the treatment of anxiety disorder and insomnia. It is also used as a sedative before surgery. (P.O.) If the patient needs it.

PANTOPRAZOLE
Stomach protector (I.V.) If the patient needs it.

 

We Are Giving These Medications for use After Hair Transplantation (For 7-10 Days Use*)

CIPROFLOXACIN / AMOXICILLIN CLAVULANIC ACID
Antibiotic (P.O.)

METHYLPREDNISOLONE
It is a steroid that prevents the release of substances in the body that cause inflammation. (P.O.)

ACETYLSALICYLIC ACID
Blood thinners (P.O.)

FLURBIPROFEN / PARACETAMOL
Painkiller (P.O.)

*We are giving all of our patients these medications: (shampoo (2 months of use), foam (15 days of use), and neck pillow, all of which are included in our costs.)
** Saline is injected into the hair transplant area. The reason for this is to expand the canals to place the grafts more easily. This fluid is the cause of swelling after hair transplantation.
