METHODS AND TECHNIQUES FOR HAIR WASH

  • Right after the operation, you will be given by our experts a special shampoo and a hair spray.
  • Our team members will wash your hair for the first time and show you how to wash your hair by yourself for the next ten-fifteen days.
  • On the second day, you are obliged to wash both the transplanted area and the donor area together once a day.
  • By applying the provided shampoo to your head you will make enough foam on your head with your fingertips very gently and carefully. Please note that scrubbing and rubbing at this area is strictly forbidden in order to protect the grafts.

  • In order to rinse and clean the head after foaming, you should place your head over the sink and pour the water very gently over the shampoo foam. A power shower should be avoided. Please also note that room temperature is preferred and the water should not be too cold or too warm.
  • You can dry your hair with a normal towel but when drying your head, you should be careful not to use too much force; as usual, be gentle and dry slowly and lightly.
  • After all the scabs on your head are removed, you can start washing your hair as you use to. You are allowed to take a normal shower and scrub your hair just like before.
  • A sample video of the hair wash after hair transplantation is completed is placed below the page so that you can also view it visually.

You can watch the 10th-14th wash and the first 9 wash. Don't forget don't touch the implanted area for the first 9 washes!

First Wash: Start 2 days after the hair transplantation (for example if the operation was on Tuesday, start on Thursday for the first hair wash) applied once a day.

"You can use shampoo on the donor area (the back of the head only) without any concerns.

*We take the day of the first wash as day 1. This can usually be one of the 1 or 2 or 3 days after the operation.

Use Panthenol spray exclusively on the transplanted hair area during the first 10 days, avoiding any contact during the initial 9 days of washing. After completing 9 days of washing, you may gently attempt to remove any crusts or scabs in the transplanted area. We require photos for assessment after the 10th day of washing.

*Hair Washing:* Twice daily from the 7th to the 10th day of washing.(New Update)

*Do not forget to carefully remove all scabs and crusts between the 10th and 13th days of washing.

* For the First Wash, commence 2 days after the hair transplantation (e.g., if the operation took place on a Tuesday, begin on Thursday for the initial hair wash this is common practice) and apply it only once a day. You will continue to use Panthenol Spray for the first 10 days of washing until completion.

Please exercise caution:

- Avoid touching your hair during the first 9 days of washing and refrain from massaging it.

- Ensure you wash your hair with warm water without applying any pressure.
- Using hot or cold water may damage the transplanted grafts.
- Avoid any rubbing or scratching in the transplanted area.
- Do not use a hairdryer to dry your hair.

**1. Panthenol Spray:* Apply it solely to the area where hair grafts are transplanted, and wash it off after 15-60 minutes (we recommend washing after an hour). Avoid touching the transplanted area during the first nine washes. Afterward, apply shampoo to the donor area and wait for 5 minutes before washing. You can find more information below.

**2. Foam shampoo:* Apply it to the entire head, creating lather, working from back to front. Apply and wait for 2-3 minutes, then wash again. (If you run out of Panthenol Spray shampoo, you can use regular shampoo with bubbles). For the transplanted area, apply the spray shampoo and wash it gently. For the donor area, apply the shampoo and wash with a normal hand massage.

*10th-13th Day Wash:* Carefully and gently remove any remaining scabs and crusts.

** After all your scabs have naturally fallen off, you can wash your hair every 3-4 days for 3 months.

** Antibiotic Cream (Fucidin, Furacin, etc.): Let it air dry for the donor area only. Use it for 5-7 days, twice a day. Be cautious: Do not touch the implanted areas and if you don't have the doctor's special ointment.

!!! Important !!!

If you do not send us photos of your head from all 5 sides every month or every two months, we may not be able to answer your future questions. This photo update and follow-up process will continue for 1 year. After all your scabs are shed, you can wash your hair every 3-4 days for 3 months.

*Start by applying the red colored oil we have given to the donor area after the first wash. And massage the donor area for 5 minutes. Do this 2 times a day.

*Start the specially prepared saline water we have given 24 hours after the operation and spray the hair transplantation area remotely every 4 hours. It will help moisturize and nourish the transplantation area thanks to the vitamins it contains. (If you are sleeping, you do not need to wake up from sleep, it is enough to apply it during the day. If this special water runs out, you can refill it with normal drinking water).
